Getting an older program to run under Windows XP
1) Right click the executable or the program shortcut to the executable, and click Properties.
2) Under "Compatibility mode" check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".
3) From the list, select an operating system that the program was designed for.
If necessary, also change the display settings and/or resolution, or disable the Windows XP visual themes.
Run the program again when you're finished changing the settings. Adjust the compatibility settings again if the program is still not running smoothly.

Is Vista worth waiting for? As with most Widows releases, it might be better to
wait, instead of rushing out and ugrading to Vista. With Vista becoming
available, there is a greatly updated Windows coming out. This version of
Windows has a different feel to the GUI (Grahical User Interface). If your
video card is not up to par, you will not be able to experience all of the
bells and whitles. Microsoft has not been really open on the subject, but if
your computer cannot handle all of Vista's capabilities, then Vista will be
installed as a basic version. At the moment, there does not really seem to be a compelling reason to rush out and buy Windows Vista.
